PhotogHQ is built by the two people behind a working Melbourne photography studio. We believe photographers are artists and business owners — not after-hours receptionists. So we built an AI concierge that answers every enquiry in seconds, books the session and takes the deposit, exactly the way we wished someone would for us.
It started with the enquiries we never got to.
Raji runs Oh My Goddess Photography, a maternity and newborn studio in Melbourne's south-east. The enquiries never arrived at convenient times: a mum-to-be messaging at 9:47 on a Sunday night, a couple asking about packages right in the middle of a newborn session. By the time Raji could reply — sometimes the next morning — the answer that came back too often was the same: “Thanks, but we've booked someone else.”
We tried the usual fixes. CRMs organised the admin beautifully, but not one of them could do the thing that actually wins the booking: answer the enquiry while the client is still deciding. Templates felt robotic. Hiring help didn't make sense for a studio our size. And the missed-booking maths kept getting worse — every slow reply was hundreds of dollars walking quietly out the door.
So we built our own front of house: an AI concierge trained on our packages, our availability and our voice — one that greets every enquirer instantly, answers like we would, pencils the date and takes the deposit, then hands us a finished booking. It changed how our studio runs. Other photographers kept asking what we were using. PhotogHQ is that answer.

Raji is the photographer PhotogHQ was built for. As the founder of Oh My Goddess Photography and a digital marketer by trade, she lived both sides of the problem — she knew how to bring enquiries in, and she watched too many of them slip away unanswered while she was behind the camera. Raji noticed that no tool on the market offered a genuine concierge service for photographers: something that didn't just organise the admin, but actually looked after the client from first hello to booked session. That gap became PhotogHQ. Today she shapes how the concierge speaks, what it promises, and the standard it has to meet — because her own studio's clients talk to it every day.

Adarsh has spent close to two decades building and running large-scale technology platforms in the financial services world — the kind where reliability and trust aren't optional. A full-stack engineer turned product and delivery leader, and a serial builder of ventures on the side, he brings that same discipline to PhotogHQ: software that handles real money, real contracts and real client relationships needs to just work. He's the architect behind the concierge — and, as the other half of Oh My Goddess Photography, he's also its most demanding customer.
